Yes, you can use organic boosters such as bat guano, worm castings or other natural fertilizers.

Yes, coco substrate can be used, but it requires some attention.

Coco is very airy but contains hardly any nutrients and can initially bind calcium and magnesium. This means that nutrients are not fully available immediately.
